Commissioned by Castricum municipality
Dromen Delven Dromen Dragen [Mining Dreams Carrying Dreams] is an artwork that ignites the dreams of five residents from the municipality of Castricum. It features photographic portraits of these residents alongside symbolic dream objects, captured by photographer Steffi Reimers. An interactive installation, crafted by students from Bonhoeffer College Technasium and e.v.a. Studio, engages visitors with the artwork. With guidance from e.v.a. Studio, the project aims to initiate a dialogue between art and technology. Dream objects created by Denise Kamp, inspired by interviews with Castricum residents, are incorporated into the installation. "Mining Dreams Carrying Dreams" invites everyone to collectively celebrate and visualize the power of dreams, especially now.
