In 2022, I founded e.v.a. Studio, a name that stands for “en vele anderen” (“and many others”) and reflects the collaborations that are central to my work.
From my studio, I work as a graphic designer and help translate ideas into strong visual forms. Trained as a visual artist at the Gerrit Rietveld Academie in Amsterdam, I work from a conceptual and research-driven approach. I enjoy thinking along, bringing structure, and developing ideas into concrete results, both in graphic design and in other visual forms.

WHAT I DO
A recurring theme in my work is how people create meaning for themselves in relation to others. In a world where genuine encounters seem increasingly difficult, I explore my own position within this dynamic. Where do my boundaries meet those of another person? How close can someone come? And what am I willing to reveal?
Through research, experimentation and dialogue, I create work that invites reflection on vulnerability, proximity and human connection.
Graphic Design
Visual communication for print and digital media. From visual identities, publications and editorial design to websites and social media content, I create thoughtful and engaging designs tailored to the needs of each project.Concept Development
Every project starts with a strong idea. I develop concepts, narratives and visual strategies that form the foundation for communication, campaigns, publications and cultural projects.Art Direction
I guide the visual direction of projects from concept to completion, ensuring consistency across design, imagery, typography and storytelling.Production & Realisation
From print production and publications to exhibitions, installations and project coordination. I oversee the execution process and collaborate with printers, makers and other partners to bring ideas into the world with care and attention to detail.Artistic Practice
Alongside my commissioned work, I maintain an independent artistic practice.
